HUNAGI has been invited to the Conference of the Civil Societies

Conference of the Civil Societies hosted by the Upper House of the Hungarian Parliament
Budapest, October 18, 2006
The Conference was opened by Ms. Dr. Katalin Szili, President of the House of Representatives.

568 representatives of about 500 civil societies attended the Opening Session of the two days Civiliada 2006 organised by the Európa Ház, Budapest.

The activities of the Finnish EU presidency were emphasized with the Conference in Lahti devoted to innovation and Energy Issues.
The Finnish Government has close links with the civil societies addressing the issue, how innovation can be transformed into products keeping in mind the Lisbon Strategy.
Mr. Farkas, representative of one of the most successful civil society articulated some criticism on the present Hungarian practice of the authorities having often unacceptable long throughput time of the administrative paperwork.
