UN COPUOS acknowledged Hungarian organisations in the Space and Society context

ELTE Space Research Group and HUNAGI were acknow-ledged by the UN COPUOS Report approved by the UN General Assembly in New York

Dr. Előd Both, Director of the Hungarian Space Research Office, Vice President of COPUOS congratulated the Hungarian organisations which were acknowledged in the agenda devoted to Space and Society: aspects education, training and awareness raising at the 49th Meeting of COPUOS held in Vienna last June.
The COPUOS Report (A/61/20) was approved by the UN General Assembly in New York in October 2006. The official document is available at the UNOOSA website:

This time two entities of the Hungarian space-related community, the ELTE Space Research Group and the Association for Geo-information (HUNAGI) are among the institutions and organisations which are listed on the pages 36-37 in the resolution number 249.
