Invited participants include EUROGI, UN Economic Commission for Africa, World Health Organisation (WHO),EIS Africa, Human Sciences Research Council (HSRC, South Africa) Institutions of the European Commission donor organisations from the EU Member States as well as The World Bank, Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and diplomatic representatives of African Countries in Brussels.
The closed-shop event could be one of considerable significance on the long road to getting GI to play its full and beneficial role in development cooperation said Bruce McCormack, Vice President of EUROGI, driver of the EU project proposal Africa-Europe Spatial Infarstucture Align (where HUNAGI is member of the consortium as liasion for the EU Neighbour countries in Eastern Europe).
