HUNAGI Presidential Board Meeting

Hosted by HUNAGI President Zsolt Sikolya of the e-Government Centre of the Prime Minister's Office, the Board Meeting addressed two issues on its agenda.
First the preliminary report on the accomplishment of the 2006 Financial Plan and Working Plan were reported by the Treasurer dr. Rezső Berencei and the Secretary General respectively.
Both reports were approved by the Board Members and special appreciation was expressed for the Institute of Geodesy, Cartography and Remote Sensing as well as for the Hungarian Meteorological Service for their committed support helping to keep the presence and activity of HUNAGI in the European Umbrella Organisation for Geo-information on the same level as it was in the past.
New member of HUNAGI the application of the Department of the Geodesy and Mine Surveying of the Institute of Geotechnology and Geoinformatics at the Miskolc University was unanimously approved. Congratulation! This academic workshop is the partner of HUNAGI to set up a georeferenced inventory of the big trees in Europe, a project to be launched on European scale in 2007 using also the EUROG institutional framework.
